Moving Music

To see when the next concert is on, go to the https://soundresource.org.uk/whats-on/ page.

Moving Music concerts have been running since 2007, and in 2019 were brought under the Sound Resource umbrella.

The concerts offer an opportunity for people living with dementia or other life limiting conditions, along with their family, friends and carers, to enjoy a day time concert experience together, with professional musicians, in a beautiful space, with good access and a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Moving Music concerts combine performances by professional and other musicians of a high standard, with sing-along songs to join in as people wish.  Refreshments are served from 30 minutes before the concerts, allowing the audience time to arrive, settle down and socialise as they wish before the concert starts.

The concert dates for 2026 are as follows, with the option of attending in the morning or afternoon.

Tuesday 21st April in Abingdon.

Thursday 2 July in Dorchester,

Thursday 17 September in Dorchester,

Tuesday 1 December in Abingdon
